What does it mean to "throw like a girl"?
This ad takes a standard that all women are taught. A stereo-type. It is amazing that Always decided to show the public the difference.
Brava. Brava.
Thinking back to my childhood I always felt like I was a little bit less. I was supposed to meet a nice husband, get married, have kids, live in a nice house, and start working towards my retirement. Seeing this gave me a little perspective. If these young girls have the confidence to run, throw, and fight like a girl, then why can't I?
We can all take a not from these young ladies and not let the standards kick us down.
I can't wait to see this ad on Super Bowl Sunday and see how my male counter parts will react.
So let's all start fighting like a girl.
xoxo
